Yup, it's summer!

Alyssa took Luke to get an ice cream when he woke up from his nap.

This is his possessed by ice cream face, you'll notice it's different than his possessed by Scooby face, which is the complete dead stare.

I think he plans to eat more than his weight in ice cream this summer. I am pretty sure that summer, or, ice cream season, is his favorite time of year.

Summa Time

Luke is really living the hard life this summer. With trips to the zoo and the pool, you can tell he is really hating life.

Easy Entertainment

Luke loves to play with Play dough. If I need to get ready, or do something for a few minutes I just ask him if he wants to play with Play dough, the answer is always

yes!

28 weeks

With 12 weeks to go, we still have have a lot of work to do. We don't plan on moving Luke to his new big boy bed until the addition is finished, and we move him into our old room. We still need to paint his dresser, and there are quite a few things for the baby we need to buy, but I feel like I still have plenty of time... we shall see! Strangers come up to me and tell me how sorry they feel for me and they can't believe I have to go until almost the end of August. I really don't feel bad at all though, so I'm not complaining.

Alyssa's 1st Day

Alyssa walked in as I was rushing by her on my way out the door to see the Dr. {baby Matthews is doing great, but measuring 3 weeks ahead, which is a nice way of saying, Alexis, put the twinkie down} I managed to say over my shoulder, as I was leaving "Oh, peanut butter in cabinet, bread on top of fridge {don't judge where I put my bread} and don't let him talk you into just eating Cheeto's. Oh, By the way, I think they are starting on the floors today, the electrician should be by, and the maid will be here this afternoon, sorry about that. Ok, call if you need anything, bye. Bye Luke." Alyssa: "Luke, say goodbye to your mom." Luke: "Bye bye Luke, see you tomorrow." Mom: "Um, Luke?" Luke, looking annoyed, as he already thinks Miss Alyssa is pretty cute and was practically shoving me out the door {actually, he was riding his train down the hallway... }: "Bye mom, see you tomorrow." With all the chaos Alyssa decided to take Luke to the zoo {wonder where she got the idea... get it? Our house is a zoo? I know, I know, don't quit my day job...} Here is Luke all buckled up and ready to go.
