More Snow?

Luke, I know you won't believe me, but it never snows like this in Texas! In your first 13 months of life, it has snowed more than in my 25 years of living here, and I love it! You were sick when it was snowing, and being that it never snows here, we didn't have the proper attire to take you out, and I didn't want you to get worse, so I made Zoe go outside with me, and we snapped some pictures, and daddy and I might have had a snowball fight later, but there were no pictures or witness' of that fight! I have got to get you some gear, because they are predicting record breaking snowfalls next week as well...

Lucky 13

This month has been crazy! I have heard "boys are just different" and from watching you and Mallory, I would have to agree! You are into everything. You have to push it, pull it, throw it, climb on it, and try to get under it. And by "it" I mean everything. You walk everywhere now, and cruise down the halls looking for open doors to explore. In one single day you figured out how to push the button on your high chair, and throw the top off, somehow hitting Leah's bowl on the table and shattering it to pieces, luckily you weren't hurt. As soon as we cleaned that up, you crawled over and opened the dishwasher and climbed in. Mom took you in the front room for a change of scenery, and what did you do? Figured out how to open the front door and get out on the porch. You love that our front door has a little pane you can open, and of course want to be picked up so you can open and close it. You also love to sit in my lap and "play" the piano, and you actually will hit individual keys and not just bang on it, which you sometimes do as well, depending on your mood. This morning I was brushing my teeth, and in the two minutes I was away, you managed to open the pantry door, get the cat food tupperware out, open that, and I found you and Zoe eating Leah's food together. Hey, at least you two are bonding. You have figured out how to get on and off the couch. You love your lounge chair, and will even kick back, throw your feet over the arms, and drink your sippy cup, read a book, or check out the TV. You also love your bounce and spin pony. You are such a cute mess! You seem to be doing things in leaps and bounds and although you are not a talker, you understand exactly what we are saying, even if you choose not to listen. Yup, you are definitely mommy and daddy's boy, and we are in Trouble, and yes, that is a capital "T". I cannot wait to see what the next days and months will bring, with you, there is no telling!
