My First Hair Cut

We choose Great Clips for two reasons: 1, they were open on Sunday, and 2, they had no line. Here I am posing with dad before we go in.

Dinner with Friends

our good friends joe, tamara, braxton, jessica, deron, cash, haley, ty, asher and wyatt claire came over for dinner last night. Haley brought her camera and snapped these wonderful pictures last night. We had all had such a good time, and decided this would have to be a regular thing!

sometimes when looking through the greatness that is iphoto, I find some treasures that I previously missed. Here are a couple I had to share.

First Day of "Camp"

We decided it would be a good idea for Luke to mingle with some other kiddos, not to mention start him on the path to budding genius {like he's not already}, so we signed him up for TCU Music {pictures can only be taken the last day of class, but they will be cute, and Lukie is loving his music class! Many of his friends are in class with him, including Addie and Clare, two of his absolute favorite girls} and "Camp", which was perfect, because it last only 8 weeks, and Luke goes two days a week, a great introduction and social skill builder* {fingers crossed, and toes} And although I was highly skeptical about how much a seventeen month old would interact at music and camp... I must say, watching Luke laugh, clap, sing, and dance during music class, is pretty much the greatest thing ever. Here are some pics from his first day of Camp. I couldn't resist the monkey lunch box...

Seventeen Months

Lukie, is it really possible that you are seventeen months? When did that happen? You are such the little man these days. You want to build things and then take them apart. Sometimes you play along and help clean up your mess. You are such a mess, and you are so cute! You definitely have that "fire engine hair temper," I used to hate it when people said that to me, but now I see why they do. :-) At Seventeen months you say "dada" "dah" for dog, "uh oh" "oh no" just plain old "no" "nite nite" "hi" "bye" and "cah" for cookie. Once you found out that thing had a name, you pretty much haven't stopped asking for them, even though they are only animal crackers. You love to play outside, grapes, mama, dada, cookies, your "lovies" which you can't sleep without, bath time, finger painting, playing the piano, you have started going to "camp" two days a week {pictures pending}, but the verdict is still out on that one... we love you so much lukie boo, and are so glad you are a part of our lives! Thanks for just being you. Happy seventeen months little guy! *Sidenote, Troy swares Luke will get a hair cut this month. We'll see if it really happens. Until then, the mullet lives on! Viva La Mullet!
