Merry Christmas

Christmas Eve

It snowed on Christmas Eve, and for the first time I can remember, it was a white Christmas in Fort Worth. We were so lucky to have grandpa and grandma to come over and cook the most delicious Christmas Eve dinner ever, and started a new tradition. Queenie and Boompa joined us, and we had a great time eating and enjoying of most special blessing of 2009. God Bless Everyone, and Merry Christmas!

Eleven

Eleven Months

Luke is all over the place this month! His new favorite thing is to open and close doors. He really enjoys crawling up and down the hall, opening and closing all doors as he goes. We are gearing up for our first Christmas, although Luke has no real interest in the tree, thank goodness! I am sure next year we will only decorate the top half where he won't be able to reach! Right now Luke only wants to eat what he can feed himself. He does NOT want any help... so right now his diet consist of a lot of carbs. Quesadillas, chicken nuggets, grilled cheese, and bean and cheese burritos are pretty much it these days. We still manage to get some yogurt and veggies down, and goldfish and cheerios of course! I cannot believe just next month my sweet little baby will be one year old!

It's My Birthday

so I had dad snap a couple of pics of me and my lukie!

We had a great day, Luke and I went to a pre-turkey play date, where the mommies sipped mimosas and the little turkey's made paper turkeys, except luke started to eat his, so we never finished ours... better luck with the christmas ornament play date...

then queenie took us to lunch at the zodiac room, where we had popovers and cake, yum! And I did a little birthday shopping, then it was nap time, for both of us!

When dad got home from work we loaded everyone up to go to the new mexican restaurant Old Rip, which was quite tasty, and a perfect end to a perfect day!
